Brought to you by the Wobbly Wyvern Courier. (finally)
Sorry for the slight pause in news at the GoblInn, but bit of a busy few months unfortunately.
The GoblInn, the Sunny Side Farms, and Goblin Bridges Falling Down have been a bustle of activity! New opportunities abound.
Keeping our new resources safe has been top priority at the farm. The farm now features more guards and defensive walls. The new presence of more fields gives more goods to feed the ever growing population at our small growing community and provide flax for armour for our warriors keeping us safe. Animal pens also add to the variety of diet increasing moral and nutrition so the young can grow up strong, healthy, and intelligent. More on that later. The live stock also gives a stable source parchment and leather for important maters. A continuous feed of breath, cheese, and defensive clothing now feeds in from the farm.
Goblin Bridges Falling Down has held open a much more efficient path to the nearest city opening up the option for regular trading with Helmsley. The old fortifications are finally being repaired and occupied. Future invaders will face quite the challenge. The other big achievement at the bridge is the addition of a dock and making the river navigable has opened up the possibility of trading with York.
With all the new trade options a trading envoy is being formed in the name of establishing trade partners. So gather up your goods and prepare them to be transported to Helmsley.
In other news, the Orphanarium has taken on a life of its own. Every child admitted to the Orphanarium is guarantied a dry bed, fair meal, and a chance to learn a life long skill. Life is looking bright for these future members of goblin society. Members of
Orphanarium are almost taking it as a matter of pride being a part of something bigger. Every member learns a crafting skill under skilled workers, they learn to defend their selves, they learn interpersonal skills. Cleanliness has long been a bane of the goblin kind. I Daedra have long looked to move past that and reach out to my goblin brothers and sisters. Together we grow. I am proud to call Dylon my apprentice. He has become a great leader. Thanks to our local spiritual leader Dench and the Church of the Fallen Shoe they even grow in ways not known to goblins in a century or more.
